:: Description and Basic Information ::
On the east side of Harambe Village guests can board the Wildlife Express train to Conservation Station, where passengers will then embark on a five-minute journey past buildings where elephants, rhinos and giraffes sleep at night. A guide narrates throughout the trip. Although all the parks at Animal Kingdom advocate and promote conservation of the wild, it is nowhere more evident than at Conservation Station. Here visitors can peruse a veterinary lab, the park’s research and conservation headquarters.

Exhibits at Conservation Station are intended to build the curiosity and interest about wildlife and the conservation efforts around the world. Highlights include the Affection Section, somewhat of a petting zoo; Song of the Rainforest, an excellent “3-D” audio show; and the Animal Health & Care exhibit, which offers a tour of veterinary labs and research facilities.
