The Hall of Presidents will warm the heart of every American who enters this patriotic attraction. Well, maybe not everyone. But at least the air-conditioned theater will certainly bring relief from the blistering heat. Honestly, the Hall of Presidents is one of the most popular attractions in the Magic Kingdom, beginning with a short film narrated by famous author Maya Angelou. The film discusses the Constitution and the principles upon which America was founded. Viewers also learn about significant moments in history, including movements like the Whiskey Rebellion, the Zeitgeist of the Civil War era, and famous speeches from luminaries like Benjamin Franklin and Abe Lincoln.
Following is an introduction with life-like animatronic figures of every U.S. president. The robots are highly detailed and some of the latter chief executives in history have speaking roles. The entire attraction lasts about 30 minutes, and though children may not find it as thrilling as its neighbor the Haunted Mansion, it usually proves fun for the entire family. |
